Marbled catshark or coral catshark. Or if you're the fortunate few you can get a freycinet's epualette shark, then go with one of those.

all shakrs no matter the size will eventually need a big footprint 8 long by at least 3-5 wide.. thats why a pond is a good suggestion..i think you meant an Epaulette crimzy had one for along time he could shed some light on them, but he recently gave him to someoen with a pond or a much larger tank. to house a shark for along time you need a pretty big size tank,, as i said within a year in my 300 i was considering an upgrade due to the size my shark had gotten..
if you had a 240-300 now iw ould say go for it and then plan an upgrade, but anythign smaller your in a bad spot.. not to mention you need one heck of a filtration system( big pocketbook) and alot of food to clean up after them and maintain your levels

Marbled cats max averages around 20-22" and coral cats max is 2' I believe. A single marbled cat can go in a 180g, that is the smallest.
Or you could get a custom tank, I'm saving for a 270g it doesn't sound like a lot, but it's 6'x3'x2'. It's perfect for a pair of marbled catsharks and maybe a grey or arabian bamboo.

They are fine with sharks. Read Aquarium Sharks and Rays and email me and I'll give you a great site for sharks and rays. I believe a Cortez or Round Ray are the smallest. Go to my thread: Thinking of a Small Shark or Ray for more info.

They sell standard glass and acrylic tanks, but they got a store there. Search 300 gallon aquarium and look at sellers.

That's how I found them and asked for a custom tank. It's a standard size custom wise and is 900$ not including shipping. (6'x3'x2')

i had my grey bamboo with two cali rays, but i later seperated them because the cali rays should really have a cooler water system to thrive, id id keep them for quit awhile though.. most rays need large systems as well,, the biggest problem with the shark ray combo is that you need a large tank because the rays need alot of open swimming space with little to no rock, but all of the bottom dwelling sharks need at least two caves IMO to hide in and the caves have to be rather large to cover their whole bodies...thus making you have a very large tank to suit both of their needs..if you search my name you can see how i had my 300 agressive setup..
you shoudl also tryt o get an 8 foot tank so they have the open room to swim,, mine swam alot and if elt sometimes that evan the 8 foot wasnt long enough for him to really go fast sometimes, so i think 6 would be way to tight but once again IMO
