What's with all the quakes?

First Haiti, then Chile. Then on Saturday or Sunday, Turkey got hit with a 6 point something quake. Now I read Hawaii had a 4.4 yesterday. Looks like The Ring Of Fire is pretty active right now. Can we expect a 'Big One' in Cali sometime soon? Maybe I shouldn't watch 2012 when it comes in from Netflix today.

a 4.4 is pretty small, it would qualify as a tremor in most earthquake prone areas of the world...

Earthquakes are nothing new to Chile which is why they have some of the strictest building codes.
According to Pat, Haiti was hit by GOD because they sold their souls to the devil in order for the French to be kicked out!!

Actually it is because of our careless activity towards Mother earth. We keep sucking out the oil from the ground leaving gaps between the earths crust. eventually those gaps collapse and resettle out, thus all the earthquakes.....

We always do this when we get a clump of like storms/occurrences.
This too shall pass...
If not, I always wanted to visit San Fran.
