Where do you keep your Salinity level?

Just another one of those questions from me.
I keep mine at 1.026 anyone else? If not what do you keep yours at?

The problem with keeping your salinity level that high is that the oxygen level will be lower than if you kept it closer to sea water. If you are going to keep it that high, why I don't know,:notsure: Uses more salt etc... I would make sure that you have plenty of water movement. At least 20 times. This will insure that there is plenty of air in there. I keep my tank at 1.024.

I keep my tank at 1.022. What should it be at if you have ich in your tank, i thought it was always 1.020 am i right.

1.030 is a high Specific Gravity. To understand how high you also have to post the temperature so you can figure out what the Salinity is. The Northern Red Sea often has a Salinity of 39ppt but yours is even higher.

I keep 35-36ppt....stability is critical....sudden changes up or down can contribute to some serious problems.
