Okra is an acquired taste. It has to be fried up just right with the right cornstarch and spices. Go great with squirrel.
Dang skippy! I take a butter bowl and put an egg, a little milk, some flour, garlic powder, pepper and salt. Put the lid on and shake it then pour it out into a hot cast iron skillet with a little bacon grease and oil.

Squirrel is good if it's cooked right. Greasy little rats. lol
I'd rather eat deer.

Okra is an aquired taste? Who doesn't like fried okra? Not liking Okra is as unamerican as being a democrat. (hehe)

Mmmmm. Venison.
Haven't been deer hunting in over 20 years. Man could I use some venison jerky right about now. My family and I stopped at a Buckey's on the way back from Houston, and they carry all these different types of jerky. I asked the guy how much their Peppered Venison Jerky was, and he said $15 for 4 oz.

Yeah. Quite expensive if you're not making your own. You can make quite a bit for 15.00. lol
With my husband overseas, we're really hurting on the deer meat this year. I miss my deer roast, deer jerky, deer spaghetti, deer chili, deer burgers and deer steaks. ...Oh! And my Indian tacos.
