You don't have any income from Capital Gains?
Guess you're one of the select few. When I worked at the various military bases her in San Antonio, I saw it all the time.
Capital Gains? Whose made any money in the stock market the last 6 months? Hate to tell you, but my stock portfolio is in the tanker. At least that's one initiative I like of McCain's. He'll let me write off up to $15,000 in losses, instead of the current $3000, if he gets elected.
How many middle class people do you known that make under $100,000 play the market, or even know what Capital Gains are? Most people I know wouldn't even fill out a 1040 if it wasn't for the interest on their m0rtgage or their property taxes.

So all of McCain's 'friends' are completely honest and true? You can't tell me that after 23 something years in politics, he doesn't have some 'bad seeds' hiding in his closet.

We know of a few
Ted Kennedy, Russ Fiengold, Hillary Clinton.......
And by the way, Obama has talked with Ayers a whole lot more recently than 10 years ago

Most of the middle class folks I know are putting money away for retirement. Many I know use financial planners and will be hit by this....

I would feel safe saying, that non of McCains friends have admitted to starting a domestic terrorist organization in the usa and planting the bombs. I'd feel safe saying that McCains pastor has never said god damn america, or that american military action equates to terrorism, I feel safe to say that McCain doesn't include a communist as a "father figure".

I concur.
People deny Obama is a Socialist, yet listen to his own words, look at his "mentors"...

No, he just associates with a fanatical pastor named John Hagee, who said New Orleans deserved Hurricane Katrina because they harbor homosexuals.
Better yet, he just pals around with one of the biggest known conspirators in this country's history. Was just watching David Letterman, and your buddy McCain is on. David asked him about the Ayers controversy, and McCain did his typical pandering about how Obama was associated with this man. So David asked him, "So you've never palled around with a controversial figure?" McCain goes, "Not to my knowledge." David says, "How about Gordon Liddy? Weren't you a close friend of his? Didn't you go over to his house on several occassions?" Shoulda seem John 'duck and cover'....

Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. I am so tired of extreme right wingers acting like McCain is gonna save us from ourselves. If everyone can't see that it will scre* the economy even more then you all are delusional.

But it is ok for democrats to call Gustov landfall coinciding with the opening of the republican convention proof god exists. Seriously?
In all seriousness, I've met hagee, the guy might be a little off on his interpretation of scripture, but he never planned or took part in bombing.

why is mccain going on the attack? i mean we never hear obama saying that mccain crashed 3 planes, i mean this pretty much means that mccain doesnt no when to give up. anyways i have heard some obama people saying nasty stuff about mccain when he was captured and tortured (like about his arms and stuff), thats messed up. i mean i dont think the guy is a war hero, but he is a tough mofo. anyways i just think mccain is kinda doing what al gore did, which is going on the attack

What does that mean? Totally missed that one...
And neither did Obama, but you treat him like he did. In 19 days, no one is going to give a rat's
% who Bill Ayers is. McCain's character is no cleaner than Obama's. He cheated on his wife, and that's OK? Oh, but that's different. Everyone does that. I still can't believe that you people actually think that because he had a brief acquaintance with this guy, even though several other respected Republican and Democratic figures were on this same baord, that this determines his overall character. Incredible.

I agree no one will care who ayers is, and mccain cheats on his wife and has a way worse acquaintance...... George W Bush.

Some of us will always care that people choose to associate with the likes of Ayers... 19 days or 19 years from now.
McCain never was a member of Hagee's church. Further, McCain quickly condemmed Hagee's comments. Obama defended his racist, anti-American pastor for months.
you guys are trying to rationalize the inexcusable.

We know Obama hung with Ayers from 1995 to 2003 at a minimum. During that time Ayers hosted Obama's initial campaign kickoff in his home. Obama funneled momey from the woods foundation to Ayers' education project. Ayers and Obama served on 2 boards together and also appeared together on 2 different panels for local forums. Obama's wife invited Ayers to appear with Obama on one of those. Obama's wife and Ayers wife worked together from 1988 until 1991.
This is someone Obama referred to as "just a guy who lived in the neighborhood". That is Obama lie #1 regarding Ayers.
Obama's campaign claims Alice Palmer who's seat Obama was running for arranged the fundraiser at Ayers house. Ms. Palmer said she had nothing to do with the planning of the event and just stopped by briefly. Obama lie about Ayers #2.
AFTER the Palmer flap Obama incredibly denied Ayers had hosted his kickoff fundraiser during the 3rd presidential debate. That is Obama's 3rd lie about Ayers.
Now if the Ayers connection doesn't matter why is it that Obama is lying about the connections?
Do we want to get into Obama's long term relationship with ACORN?

Truthful politician, another oxymoron. Look at the histories of some of our most successful presidents. See the types of individuals they associated with at one point in time. Obama can claim till the end of time his relationship with Ayers was menaingless. In your minds that doesn't matter. I feel sorry for you if that's the mentality you use as a primary basis to judge a presidential candidate. McCain doesn't lie, he just dodges the truth. It's OK he associated with a conspirator, burglar, and cheat that brought down Richard Nixon's presidency?

Ayers is an admitted domestic terrorist who attacked the Pentagon and Capital Building...
How can folks shrug that off? As I have said repeatedly, it's insane the Commander in Chief of the USA may very well be a man who couldn't qualify for even the most basic security clearance...

If you are implying that Obama would fail to qualify for a security clearance because of his "relationship" with Bill Ayers, then by that same "reasoning, John McCain would fail to qualify because of his well documented close 5 year relationship with Vietnamese Communists, which is just plain silly.

As long as you ignore the little fact, that McCain was captured and tortured, Obama did so willingly.

Gordon Liddy served his jail time and admitted what he did wrong. Ayers brags about being free as a bird ad guilty as sin and rather than showing remorse for what he did brags about it and says he wished he had done more.
Like in Most cases had Obama just came out and said "yeah, I know and worked with the guy, he seemed OK to me but I am troubled about his 9-11-2001 statement about his past activities" this would have ceased to be an issue. Bill and Monica sound familiar? If Bill had just said yeah, well what can I say he probably would have went up in the polls.
I think Ayers' political philosophy more troubling than his weatherman background. Obama hangs out with some very extremist characters. These people are a lot further off the political beaten path than someone like Rick Santorum is on the right and I wouldn't vote for him either.
