LOL! Your x-mas list sounds almost identical to mine. Mine is gift certificate to Abercrombie (I am obsessed lol) a uv sterilizer, a fuge, a PSP, a xbox 360, a laptop, an ipod video, new lights, etc.

yeah, there were people camped out at our best buy yesterday too!!! Actually, it just opened 15 minutes ago... i'll bet it's utter chaos there!!!

that makes no sense whatsoever!!! why in the world would you pay $2,225 for a system that costs $300????????? even if you got all of the accessories, even the bundle package with a wireless controller, two games, and other crap, it's only $700 at toys r us... people make no sense to me at all!!!

wow just happemnend to find this post. Well I have a 360 and its awsome i only paid the retail price because it was worth it to me to waiit but for those people who know much about consols they know that the 360 is more powerful than a $3000 computer and cost for every $400 system it cost $550 for microsoft to make its in microsofts long term plan to make money but at this time they are in the hole millions. but its microsoft the can take a hit like that at first. the ps3 though since it gonna use blue ray technology and other anvance coponotes well cost sony around $800 doloars to make. but sony does not have the resorces to sell it at below cost to match the 360 price tag. so either the ps3 is gonna cost almost twice as much or sony is gonna have to take a big hit. I would be suprised if they sold it lesss than $600. the blue ray drive alone is progected to cost $500.

how is it different from the current format dvd : it allows up to 50 GB of space and allows for 1080P hdtv's which are far more expensive than 720p/1080i hdtv's which still most people dont have
the current dvd format enambles 9gb of space on one disc. to giv you an Idea of hiow much the typical massive game space takes up san andreas took up only 3 gb of space the largest game That I am awre of took upto 5gb of space and that was 360's oblivion. what happens if say microsoft want to have a game with more than 9 gb's of space which would be quite massive. the could have 2 discs for it. or have some files zipped and put directly on the hard drive of the 360 currently 20gb. A larger hard drive is sapose to be coming out soon. also microsoft is coming out with an external hd-DVD drive that connects to the 360 for those who would want the hd-dvd format. but for those who dont care and already enjoy the dvd format on thier games that allow 720p/1080i they wont have to pay the extra.
