I thought this would be fun..to see what everyone's personal music tastes are. I think I'd have to say that my favorite artist is Steven Curtis Chapman. He's incredible. So, whats yours?

Steven Curtis Chapman is a very gifted musician, and one of the few people I consider "real musicians" in the industry today.
My personal favorites as far as Christian music goes would have to be Rich Mullins and
Micheal Card.
Both very talented.
As for my other music interests, Joe Satriani is my favorite rocker.
He plays instrumental rock guitar and is truely amazing.

Your not a Metallica fan are you...

Drummer - John Bonham
Guitarist - Jimmy Page, Joe Satriani, Randy Rhoads, Eric Johnson
Bass - John Paul Jones
Vocals - Robert Plant, Christina Aguilera(kinda wierd to have with the rest of them but what the hell, she has an amazing voice), John Lennon, Paul McCartney
Just looking at this it appears I have all the members of Led Zeppelin listed....Maybe its because they're the greatest rock group to ever walk the face of the earth.......or maybe thats just my opinion.

I totally agree. Some of my favorite songs of his are Next 5 minutes, Speechless, Fingerprints of God, Live out Loud, and JESUS IS LIFE! I really love them all, but those are some of my favorites. Its incredible...it took a divorce for my to truly develop that awesome relationship with God. But, whenever I'm feelin' down, I just turn on the radio to our local christian/inspirational station, and I remember that God has my back.

All good artists...but since when is Faith Hill the hottest thing on two legs?!
I can think of FRIENDS who look better, IMO than her.

Avenged Sevenfold
Fall Out Boy
Rammstein

That doesn't make you a fogie(unless you are realllllllly old) :hilarious
I am 25 and have been listening to Satriani since I was old enough to remember.
Satriani and Page are the reasons I picked up a guitar.

The music from the 60's, 70's, and some of the 80's is the best.
Back then music had real meaning. Bands didn't just scream some garbled crap into a microphone and belch out muddled guitar riffs and call it music.
I like some of the music from a few "modern" rock bands, but not much.
I always find myself slipping back to the old stuff.
This newer crap won't be around in 30-40 years.
Of course, thats what they said about the music back then...........

ah, I'm an 80's hairband kind of girl (even though I was born in 79) My favorites are Metalica, Megadeath, Skid Row (named my dog Sebastian), Poison, Guns N Roses, etc. I don't realy like todays metal, lost some of the rythem and vocals.
