Question for you about the frags. On those discs they are mounted on, how long can they stay on this disc for??
One other question, buttons are they polyps or zoas??

I am sure they can stay on the disc perm. or at tleas tuntill they out grow it and spread off. The discs are made of aragonite I believe. The ceramic discs are fine also I am sure. THey are hard surface and inert so would pose no danger to the zoas or whatever you ahd attatched to them.
I think buttons are reference to palythoas more so than zoanthids. Technically though any encrusting anemone is in the order Zoanthidia of which the zoanthids and palythoas belong.

No longer. The frag tank kept tripping breaker so I packed everything into display and setting up a 50 tub on a different breaker and everything going in there till I can get whatever I need to have done to fix the power. Everything still doing well though, just a bit crowded.
I had no idea electricians were so dang high priced for their work. Might buy a House wiring for Dummies book. If I do and attempt it myself I will draw up a will sending the DM and Rainbows to someone else in the ZFA before I attept to make the final wiring connections.
