I just bought a used 46 gallon Bowfront. It was a freshwater tank, and copper was added about a year ago. Will this pose a problem? I read that the copper never comes out. Does anyone know if this is true. I would like to set this up as a reef tank. Thanks.

We have a Marinland 30 gallon with hood and Eclipse filter. I was able to get a hang on Prism skimmer to work. You just have to get a out your Dremel tool and carve until everything fits.

We have live rock and live sand in our new 30 gallon. It has been set up for 24 days now. We had nice coraline algae on the rock but it has since turned a rust color along with a rust color on the sand. What can we do to eliminate this? Is it common?
