Well I believe its time for upgrading! I currently have a 30gal tank with 45Watts over it 3-15 watt bulbs, one being a 50* 50 coralife. Now I have a glass hood and my covers sit on top of that. The tank is a few inches off the wall. I was thinking maybe around 4 watts per gallon...so 120WATTS...

I tested my Tap water- PH was 8.3 Am-0 Nit-0 Nats werent tested,lost bottle of test solution stuff. KH-was at 7 drops for 7 dKH or 125.3 ppm KH GH-was at 15 drops for 15 dGH or 268.5 ppm GH I was wondering if this was good or bad. I've never tested for KH or GH so I don't know if they are good...
