So does someone running a nilsen run the risk of getting their levels too high? Or should one figure out that if a tank that has a capacity of 160 gallons and 2.5 gallons a day of evaporation a day along with roughly 22ppm usage of Ca then the makeup water should have that amount of Ca in it as...

It looks like my longspine urchin got stuck between the glass and a rock in my tank. Just about all of his spines have broken down to about a 1" length. Is this bad? He still has all of his spines, but they're just short. Jim

I'd say that head is a goner. I had 3 heads that died on mine. Once they were partially gone, the rest followed suit shortly. But there is always the chance that it pulls through. Jim
