What kind of tang is this?

The fish was in a large restaurant aquarium, and the waiter had no idea.. I didn't want to trouble him too terribly. But that's the right tang! Thanks so much!

I'll be sure to get juvies, as I will with most of my fish, seeing as I like watching them grow I'll consider not getting the tangs then..wouldn't want them to be cramped..I'll look into this..

What kind of tang is this?

Sorry, no pics D: The base color of its body was grey/blue, and its gill covers, tail fin, and "chin" area contained darker blue. Where its tail began was yellow, and all other fins were mostly yellow. It also has a yellow "Mask" around its eyes.. I saw a couple of them at the local aquarium...

I recently sold a 14 gallon biocube that was my seahorse tank.. But my dad's friend gave me a leaking 155. I resealed the entire tank, and have been saving...

    Canister filter trouble..

I took down my tank, and set it up two days later.. It's currently running on a canister filter, which in the process, I unplugged, and left where it was. I plugged it back in today and it refuses to work, it simply makes a lot of noise. It is still filled with water, anyone know what the...

    Sharks? Stingrays? What to do..155gal..

I am redoing my 155, since we have to put wood flooring down. I recently bought a large skimmer with a mag 12, and we're working to build at least a 30 gallon sump. I have over 100lbs of rock, and fine sand. My question is this, I am seeking to keep a bamboo shark, preferrably a brownbanded...

Please help Asap! Skimmers and sumps..

Well, we're going to get a sump of around 30 gallons or so for our 155 (Yes, I know, it's small, but it's better than nothing) And in a series of trades, I've been offered two types of skimmers. 1 is very large, for a tank of 100+ gallons, but I was wondering if it would still work in a sump...

I have a 14 gallon biocube that's been holding seahorses ever since I got it, and I've decided to take a different route. Any ideas on 1 or more fish I could add to my nano that are unusual? I'm not wanting the normal clownfish setup, but something eyecatching, like my past seahorse has been...

    Microorganisms

I'm taking some water samples from my nano to share with some fellow classmates as we are studying microbiology. I know what the common specimens to be found are, inclusing Copepods, amphipods, flatworms, etc. But are there any other really common ones I should be aware of? I'm puting together...
