I sometimes read about people using the superglue method to "mount" when it comes to mounting polyps but I never quite understood how. I just acclimated the piece of frag rock and placed it in the tank beside my other rocks. Do I just sit and wait? or did I do something wrong?

I recently bought a frag with about 1 polyp and 1 mushroom. When put in the tabk will it "seed" the other live rock and continue to mulitply? If not how do I get it to multiply? Thanks.
