    lots of snails and hermits to keep it clean, A g2 skimmer helps alot too..the tangs get along fine as long as they are the same size...give or take, and they have plenty of spots in the rock to call there own. My clown is a bit lost after her anemone died but she me made a home in a pink soft...

    I finally got my 75 up and running A g2 skimmer 250w metal halide (10,000K) 2 100w actinic blue vho aprox 75-85 pounds of live rock...90 pounds live sand Actinics come on at around noon or so...the MH on at 2 off at 6 blues off at 7. the tank is only two months old.... ph is 8.2 ammonia is 0...

    is there a "rule of thumb" as far as how much live rock to use? Do you have to start out with all that live rock or can you use some nice base rock and a few nice pcs of live and grow you own? At 8.00 a pound thats 600 just in rock

    lazy reefer question.....on testing

    IMO lazy will cost you money. When I started my nano reef 8 months ago iwas told Check levels everyday because it only 12 gal. lazy to date has cost me more than I ever thought possable.

    live rock question

    I have a 75 gal long that I want to make a reef tank. I don't have the lights yet but I was going to start adding live rock over the next few months. Will the live rock survive with only a standard flo light or shoud I wait ontil I can afford the lights for the reef tank?

    strange problem

    I have.. Brine mostly and some pellet and flake. The odd thing is I only deal with one LFS and some eat flake the day I bring them home others wont touch it.
