Ok hes looking better she says the spots drastically have improved. but she said she did a test after adding tonight 5 ml and she couldnt tell if it was 2 ppm or 4ppm the darn color schemes are so close so she did a 10 percent water change to be on the safe side.then we did a test and it clearly...

this tank originally cycled like 3 years ago..don't remember but they all spiked..usually at the end of each month the ammonia goes to .10 and the nitrite goes to 0.1 then nitrate goes to 2.5 thats how it has been for the past 6 months then after the water change the levels always go down to...

For 6 months levels were at 0. So I dont know this just happened a week ago. ammonia at 0 nitrate at 5 so hopefully with time it just levels out. will doing a 10 percent water change hurt ?

update: the ammonia is at 0.10 1 week in a tub with 2 maxi jet 1200's and a heater at 80F,I did 3 water changes 80 % 100% 100%. So still waiting
