Problem is a generic MH lamp will run you $25-30 and a name brand would run you $50-75, as for the ballasts a decent one would run you $100-120 per ballast. It's hard for me to to scrape up the cash right now for 2 new ballasts. But I can afford to get 2 Phoenix lamps which are on sale for me...

What is more importqnt for better quality lighting a name brand bulb like hamilton or phoenix with a generic ballast ? or a name brand ballast like a coralvue ballast with a generic bulb ?

Can that be a purple and 2 yellows ? and since I did not introduce them at the same time if I do some major new aquascaping will that work in the 120 ? thanks

I got 2 yellow tangs small 1.5 inches I put them in together about 2 months ago in my 55 gal RT within a week they were fighting alot. One of the tangs dorsal fin at the back where the dot is was nipped at and he was hiding in a cave for a while I just would watch the bully nip at him and annoy...

still cant get rid of the bubbles tank has been up for 6 days the hose from the skimmer should be 1 inch away from the foam box that the coralife super skimmer comes with or directly attached in the hole inside the foam which has a rectangle plastic around it ? Also should this "box" be totaaly...

Thnaks it looks ok to me but it not the best picture I hope if you can tell if it's healthy some would say it might be bleaching but I don;t see it. I feed it 3x a week silversides and squid plus it gets brine and mysis shrimp when I feed the other fish I run around 800 watts in a 120 gal tank...

Well it's on the right side of the sup but attached to the return pump which is in the sump..it's not a hob well at least not on the back of the DT so I'm confused.

The CC was eating him this morning so there goes the LMB I got him to remove some algae now I have no algae and I'm affraid anything that eats algae will pass as well. I have 2 more pincusion urchins they are in danger too.
