Im planning on doing 2 48" VHO's over my 125. I can buy a kit for 75 bucks plus the cost of bulbs. I think that will be plenty of light for me.

I am hoping it was just a molt. That is the only scarlet in my tank and it just molted a couple of weeks ago. There is still a crab in it's shell, but it looks orange right now.

So I walked by my tank and noticed my condy had a nice dinner of Scarlet Crab......Not real sure how he ended up with him, but I sat and watched the condy regurgitate my Scarlet....

Look what I got!!! So these are the percs we bought last week...now they have a RBTA to call home!! I hope they will host it! I think I might be sick for the next few days over what I paid for it, but I got a good deal regardless. And it's what I really, really wanted!!

my tank is a 55 and its got a mix of corals. My calcium was at 370 before I started dosing. Last test was 400. I guess calcium and the alkalinity substances work together with one another? I want to keep calcium around 420. I guess I will just have to learn what my tank requires with a few...

Anyone dose with B Ionic calcium and alkalinity? I just started using this stuff and it says to dose daily. I cant see how my calcium would be getting used so much that I need to dose daily. Can anyone shed light and explain this supplement amymore?
