I had a toadstool suffer some shipping problems. It stayed closed for about two weeks then started to stand back up and extend its polyps. It really looked dead but I kept it in the tank anyways. Just find a good spot low and leave it alone for a few weeks.
Also I situated mine in high flow...
The corals would probably not be too good, but the rock should be fine if it is wrapped in wet newspaper with heat packs. There is going to be die off no matter what.

It has been a while in the making, just another set back. I think the reseal will be in the works this weekend. Everyone I talked to said that I should not worry about it afterwards, besides a new tank purchase is not feasable right now.
I am making arangements to reseal it with some friends. going to cut the whole tank apart and silicone it back together. I am also thinking of a safety band on the top that will be hidden under the canopy using a shipping strap.
