Will angel fish eat shrimp? I'm interested in getting a flame or coral beauty in a month or so, but don't want to part w/ my shrimp. Some years ago I caught a Queen Angle on shrimp, but don't know if the pygmies eat them.

It varies. You want a slow flow rate most people try to have it between 1-2 gal/hr. Others have there over 4 gal/hr. I think a lot of it has to do w/ the purpose of your refugium.

Do they eat all types of stars or just knobby ones?

If you add live plankton to your tank will it reproduce? I see Indo-Pacific Seafarms sales it.

No, he actually goes out in the open and picks fights. I think he want the shrimp to clean him, I haven't seen them do that in a while.

I have a 55 gal tank. How often and how much kalk water do any of you use to keep your calcium high. I noticed alot of you dose at night, why?

I added a diamond goby over a month ago and until he has displayed pretty relaxed behavior. Then all of a sudden he's nipping at the clown fish and then a few of the shrimp. It doesn't seem like he's out for blood, but what could cause this. He eats like everyone else in the tank and sifts...

I've always heard not to put two different kinds togeather. Especially in a 55 gal tank.

I don't have the same type of filter as you, but sometimes my system startes to get some bubbles in it if I don't clean the sponges. Don't know if it helps you or not.

I go to the pet store on Bucsh. Discount Pet Mart I think is the name, I also go to Ideal Aquariums some, then I've been to the Tampa Bay Saltwater company a couple times (on Saturday).

Guy at LFS said that there was no need to do water changes because of tank evaporation. Seems like the water would evaporate not the toxins. What's everyone else's take on this?
