i just happened to read another thread that said one reason you don't want fans blowing out is that they are drawing heavy moisture through them causing them to burn out faster. I can't see that as being too huge a factor ..but a factor for you to consider.

leaning more toward the mag 24 now. It does use a bit more wattage it appears than two mag 12's. But the flow will be a lot more manageable.

okay with a 90 gallon sump. I need 5 inches about for a 20 gallon Overflow. If I go with a 30 inches for the overflow chamber that would be 36 gallons and with 2000 gph in the return pumps I would get a 55x turnover in the sump. Then If I go with the smallest chamber I can for the return...
