If you have a MH setup and are only 5 or so inches above the water line in the tank, do you need a chiller? Parameters are 75 gal Tank and 2 x 175 Hqi MH's

I am not sure what to buy, should I add more flouresant and atnic light or should I jump up to the MH set up? Problems I am trying to work out: 1, I have a canopy and I am not sure if the MH lighting can be kept under it due to heat and the height it would be from the water line. 2, I have a 36"...

Snipe do you have a 48" strip? Does it fit underneath a oak canopy.

Hey carina, The board experts say no way. I dont think he would bother the star but the other things definately. I just brought mine back to the fish store last night after a month, I loved him but really want to do a reef tank.

thanks boom... i am not sure if i got ripped. My filter i have seen for anywhere from 195 - 349 on different sites.... I got it for $250 after tax etc.. It is a Amiracle SL-15. I bought a dual satilette lighting set up so that is no worry right now.

thanks larry, the reason for only a 90 gal upgrade is becuase my wet dry filter states it is only good to 100 gal. I would go bigger but the filter cost me like $250ish and I cant toss it or ---- it for a loss...

my puffer sometimes does the same thing, i dont know why but on occassion i see him in the bent like position.... he is doing well in my tank for like 2 months now...

Thanks O. Well I really like the puffer, tang and clown and they have been togehter for alittle while with no territory disputes.... Is there something that would fit in the mix that I have, like the humuhumu is a nice looking fish. or should i stay away from the triggers and go for smaller...
