oceana, I know it seems like the easy road out but after pricing what it would cost to get a RO/DI system, It was much cheaper. For me it was the reduction in cycle time that was the main driver for me to go with it... As most men, I am so pysched and eager to setup my tank... I dont know how...

well to be honest, i have no idea the pros and cons for the deep versus the shallow sand beds... I am alittle lost as to the right thing here.... If I get some play sand, is there any specific stuff needed? Does it require to be washed etc?
