that was my 29gal that has be going for 3 months. this pic is what I had 2 days ago with the UGF and CC

to begin I started with a 29 gal just made the switch from CC and UGF to LS. You can see the treads from earlier on how i change. I went to the LFS and came across a 55gal tank that has been drilled had a pipe running off into a rubbermaid with bio-ball in it and a big pump to return water...

fish seem to be fine. I also plan a getting a small cleaning crew on wednesday.

I love the change and everyone seems to be doing fine. I plan to test this afternoon and I will keep you posted. I just throw the LR anywhere because I will be getting 5# on monday and will arange it then.

It is crystal clear now I will post some pics later

That is a nice tank is it a 55gal? I wanted to say thanks for all of you adivce I also changed my CC and UGF to live sand the sand has settled very nice and I ordered some live rock that will be here monday. Here is what it looks like now, but I will send more when it settles in the morning.

i run carbon and change one a month and rinse frequently. I have fish only with live rock and sand

Good I just did:nervous: The change is complete and I am just waiting for the water to settle a bit so I can put the fish back. When I get finished I will post some before and after pics

do I clean or not I need to hurry.

while I have all the water out should i wipe off the sides of the tank or would it ge good to keep the little alge that i have?

do you think i should worry about putting the fish right back in when i'm finished and I also plan to add 5# LR on monday. Do you think i should worry about a short cycle?
