I pick up some Kent marine Liquid calcium today, but it says to add 1 teaspoon to 50 gals each day. Is this right? how much and how often should i use it? Should I worry about anything else?

do I need to test for calcium and iodine or just use the supplement? and i will buy lights when i can set up the 55gal. Here is my 29gal today

The sand i found at walmart had the same SKU but it was not white in color and looked brown like regular sand. It this the right stuff? I did not see much fizz but there were some bubbles?

I used tap water to start and used R/O for water changes ever since. My ph is 8.0 used treatment of ph up but i have used this before also. My ammonia is 0, Nitrite 0, Nitrate 20. Sal 1.022 Temp 82 Those are the only test I have.

I had CC on the bottom and only 5# LR. about a month and 1/2 ago I swithed the CC to LS 40#. but I never had any problems with that and they only test that is not zero is nitrate witch is 20.
