what would be the point in moon lights if you can only turn them on when the reqular lights are on or did I miss understand you?

I was thinking I could get a glass top for my 29gal and just set it on top so when I get the 55 gal I could use the light for 1/2 of that tank. Or should I just go with a 30"?

If it is a pinnapple sponge would this many cause a problem and what if I cleaned them off of the glass. If you have any other ideas or can point in the right direction for research. sorry these pic suck!!

Sorry pic came up slow. I have some of the larger pinnapple looking sponges on some LR would this possibly spreading?? It is still hard to see and the seem to be the same width unlike the pinnapple big at the bottom. I have also watched them really close and I don't see any movement.

Yes I have a skimmer, but everything it has allway pulled was brown in color but no the cup has a bit of whitefoam, do you think that may be a problem?
