    Blue damsel + Tomato clown

I have two yellowtail blue damsels that were my first (sacrafice) fish in my tank. They never bother anybody. My clowns and damsel pick on all newcomers for a while, but it usually gets sorted out in a day to two.

    Aiptasia or Hydroids?

They actually look better in the pics than they do in the tank. I think I'll pull the rock out and put it in a seperate container and pluck them off with a tweezers. Rinse the rock and put it back in my tank. It can only get worse.

    Mushrooms.

Good question. Sometimes they are called mushroom anemones or disc anemones. According to Borneman, in his book aquarium corals there is still scientific controversy. I quote, "They are part of a taxonomic nightmare and difficult to identify with any degree of accuracy." I guess they have...

These guys are about 1/2 inch tall and came on the rock with the blue shrooms. They didn't pop up for a couple of weeks after I got the rock. I posted pics last week, but I thought I try some under a different light.

    Bristle worm trap

I used one for a while on my old tank. I had littler bristle worms. Loaded the trap with dried brine shrimp and caught worms about an inch long. I don't think I would bother with the kind of bristle worms I had now, I think they might be good for a tank, but yours sounds like the big bad...

Wow they do sort of look like that but they are brown. The stems are soft. I just checked and they don't close when bugged or lights out. Are they okay? Yours are pretty. I want these to turn that color.

    Possible Aiptasia Epidemic ID please

Brown. It looks like a little anemone on top of a tube like stem. Or a little duster on top of the stem. Let me try another pic.

    Possible Aiptasia Epidemic ID please

Well, maybe I'll just wait and watch. I have lots of snails which have kept my tank clean of hair. I have removed a couple of bubbles, but they were easy to identify. My water parameters are good. These guys definitely hitched a ride.
