Nope, they sort of look like little dusters on long stems but don't close up.

Here's another one. There are about 100 of them on this rock.

All of the stuff (except the mushroom) are the same stuff. It looks like hair algae, but it is on those long stems like at the top of the rock. The hair algae looking stuff is at the top of the stem. They are only about 1/2 inch right now and brown.

I don't have kits for those two things. I have been adding coralite once a week, which has both. I am still concerned if I start dripping Kalk by Alk level is going to rocket? And why Kalk instead of liquid calcium?

I have a couple places on my live rock that I have this critter that is very small (couldn't get a pic) All you can see are yellow threadlike arms that come out searching for food?? The arms are the diameter of thread and about an inch long. Anyone have any ideas?
