my vote is also a blue-dot jawfish... not a lot of people have them... and they have a very nice personality once acclimated to your tank...

yes, the PB needs a lot of room but i was hoping to keep him on the 55FOWLR for 6 months until i'm ready to get a 180 but unfortunately he died i also got him for $25.. i got him really small 1 1/2"... anyway, about the lighting.. i think that it's better to have some kind of lighting at night...

we have lost a blue-dot jawfish, yellowhead jawfish, powder blue tang, flame angel, and almost a lawnmower blenny.... i think the secret for my 29 reef and my bro's 10 reef is the night light... both of the previous tanks have actinics at night.. all the fishes seem to be okay when the lights...

i'm also curious on what everyone will say about this... i had 2 orange firefishes in my 29 reef and they got along fine for 3 months and all of a sudden, one of them decided to be mean and killed the other.... survival of the fittest, i guess... i wonder if 3 is better?

i'm surprise no one is busting you yet.... anyway, i think that your tank is a little too small for a scholl of yellow tangs... i would suggest a 180 for a school of tangs... i think that you will be seeing the scalpels out if you decide to keep a school of yellows... just a warning but you can...

tank is almost 3 months old..... the reason i got it was it was on sale for $20.. i was hoping it would survive... should've known better... :( anyway, i'll try another one later on... maybe when the tank is 8 months old....

i had my flame angel for 2 weeks and now it's gone... it was a nice fish... ne-wayz, i might try another one later on... right now, i'm just keeping what i have and try to enjoy them... i'm upset and disappointed.... :mad:

they squabble once in a while but nothing serious... overall, they are both doing great... the coral beauty spends most of his days just grazing and the maroons just cuddle all day long with their host anemone...

what's the maximum shrimps i can put in my 55 FOWLR so far i got 2 cleaner and 2 camelbacks... i was thinking of adding 2 more peppermint since they are 2 for $10.. let me know if this is feasible... thanks...

golden dwarf.. i saw that fish at my LFS and it was gorgeous.. it was going for like $150.... ne-wayz, my favorites would be flame and coral beauty.. as you can see by the signature.... :)

what about a yellow tang?

will they get along with camel back shrimps too?

i've had my coral beauty for about a year now and this is by far one of my favorite fishes in the reef tank... i put him in after giving the tank a year to mature.. he enjoys grazing in and around the LR... i think that you'll be able to get away with a dwarf angel as long as your tank is...
