    I have had a huma with my lion for almost two years. They get along fine....I think as long as the tank is big enough, you should not have any problems with this combo.

    My shark turns a year old in a few days. It hatched from an egg about a month after I got it. He is about to outgrow the tank and it's gonna kill me to give him up.

    Help weening a lion

    Try live ghost shrimp a couple of times. Then thaw out some krill and put it in. I have had several lions and this is how I got them off live.

    I too have one of these....I never see it, unless I shine a flashlight in the tank at night....It was very cool when I put it in the tank, the time it spent accumating, was the most I saw of it.

    Try squid. The one I have, I hatched from an egg. He ate from the get go. Now when he smells food in the water, he comes up and eats out of my hand.

    You could set your watch by the one that I have. Up at 7am, makes his bed at 6pm, if the lights are on or not. I would not cut out your morning feeding.

    I have two that are in a 55. They started out with the horizonital lines when they were about an inch long. Now they look like you said and about eight inches long. Have not had any problems with them....Although, they have tunnels throughout the tank under the live rock. They are very active.

    Mine took about a month. There was always movement in the egg. Two days before it hatched, all movement stopped. I thought maybe it had died, but I left it in there. Then one night, I noticed it moving alot. The shark was cutting itself out of the egg. It was the coolest thing to see.

    I hatched a bamboo a few months ago. As soon as he came out, I feed him ghost shrimp. Now he will eat any food I put in the tank. He loves to come to the top and take squid out of my hand.

    They do like a softsand bed to sleep in. Also, if startled, they will bury themselves. What other fish are you putting it with?

    I have one of these guys in one of my tanks. They are very cool fish. They like to decorate the tank. Mine is always picking up the hermit crabs and moving them to other parts of the tank. I have not had any problems with him picking at other fish.

    I have one in my office at work. It has a six line wrasse and a chalk basslet with a tiny cleaner shrimp. It has a live sand bed and a few pounds of live rock. It has been up and running for about six months with no problem.

    At this point in time, I would have to say that the queen trigger I just got is the favorite. Talk about a really cool fish.
