    Would a tang be ok?

Well I should rephrase my original question. Anyone had a hippo go from say 1" to 10"? Or anything close? I just personally haven't seen much fish growth so I'm just curious.

    Would a tang be ok?

Anyone here actually have a 12" hippo? Or a 10"? So often I hear people say they'll get this size but I have never seen one that big except in the Georgia Aquarium or something. If you do have one, post a pic!

    Brown stuff on sand

What do you mean by cycle your lights? If you mean how much light should you give your tank while it cycles, I believe the answer is none. It will just add to your algae growth.

    135G Tank Help with stock

You bought all those at once? Don't triggers pick on sharks? I was thinking they like them for their cartilege(sp?). Either way, the Undulate will likely go ballistic and kill them all. Seriously.

    Orange Diamond Goby

It's a 72 gallon. I better give it a while though since my tank is new. I'd just like to have something that sifts through the sand.

    Orange Diamond Goby

I read that you have to have a refugium to house one of these gobies or other sand-sifters. Is this true? I have a FOWLR tanks with plenty of LR and LS. I don't have a refugium though. I have a wet/dry and canister. Thanks

    135G Tank Help with stock

I have to go with Undulated on this one. Triggers generally do not grow more than 1.5" per year in an aquarium. I think some people on this board exaggerate how fast fish grow to dissuade people from getting them. JMO.

    72 Gallon FOWLR Stock List

Anybody ever heard that some dwarf angels (i.e. lemonpeels, bicolors, etc) don't do well in fish only tanks, but prefer reef tanks? I read that on a website yesterday and had never heard that before.

You think the tang is overkill or do you think it wouldn't get along with the rest?

    72 Gallon FOWLR Stock List

I just set my 72 gallon FOWLR up the other day after taking off 5 years from the hobby. I used to have an aggressive tank, but now I'm thinking I'd like some smaller, more peaceful fish and some inverts. I don't have much knowledge on these types of fish though. I know there are varying...
