had this guy for about 4 weeks. 55 gal tank. he died today and had red spots on his belly. what could that have been and do i need to do anything to my tank to protect my other fish?
i just bought a Goniopara-green from the fish store the other day. it has now been in my tank for two days and it doesn't look anything like it did at the store. it looks like a rock, no color or anything.
also, can i have it in aqaurium with fish?
just wondering if there were any good fish that eat algea off the glass of my aquarium. i scrub it off and then in two or three days it will reappear. i haven't had the lights on for a couple of days thinking that may help. just wondering.
setup my 30 gal tank last night and are going get horses to go in it alone. hoping by the time the tank gets going good he will be willing to sell the horses.
the lfs salesman said they have had the horses about 3 weeks and haven't lost any yet. said he wanted to give them 1 or 2 more weeks before he started selling them.
i've noticed that my tom. clown is very protective of the tank. local fish store has got some black seahorses and wanted to make sure the clown isn't going to harass the horse? :help:
had the same problem. was told that i was leaving the lights on too long. so i cut back the light time and sure enough the rust color has slowly gone away.
rust brown color that is on my live rock and my saltwater rock along the bottom of aquarium. i hear i need some kind of cleanup crew any suggestions for a 55 gal. been running about 3.5 weeks.
