do you have a site where i can get a nitrate digital meter.

i just bought 4 littleneck cleaner clame a couple of days ago. i burped them and put them in. they havent moved much....does it take a little for them to acclimate....i know they arent dead they arent wide open

so what about burping the clams? do you do that as well? do you need vho lighting or special lighting?

the reason why the heaters and powerheads is to get a good mixture. you should mix your salt when storing the ro water. never add salt directly to your tank....at least thats what i was told. you want the water just about the same temp as your tank water so your fish dont get stressed...

what do they do....i know they sift the sand....but do they cleaned the uneaten food....meaty, flakes, etc....would they help for a f/o tank....i have a hawkfish and looking for a good way to clean my sand....

i dont think it is ever too much overkill to buy something bigger....a lot of times you will get a bigger tank and will need it anyway for that...so if you can afford it go biggger.

i had that same problem w/ my hawkfish. so far ive got snails and i got a sandsifting starfish yesterday. dont know how much of a difference that will make. but i heard gobies are good. and they would be too big for your wrasse.

thanx...i have lots to learn too.....what about star fish....i heard they are good sand sifters....i need something to clean my sand and cant have any crabs since i have a hawkfish....any ideas?
