I dont know much about t6. But I know that t5 come in HO and VHO. There are some other kinds but they are useless. If it doesnt say HO or VHO i wouldn't buy it. Thats just my opinion though

Is your new lighting HO or VHO?

I found one on Aquatrader for a reasonable price. Alittle concerned with the quality.

How many GPH would you advise for a 27 reef tank? I will have corals that need moderate flow.

Are you sure they are the same quality though. I can't find the warranty for aqua traders but, mine came with a one year warranty on all electronics and 30 on bulbs.
