I've got these four hairy mushrooms that are just huge! The largest is about 8" across and the rest are about six". Is this normal? Is it hard to get these guys to split, or should I take matters in to my own hands (snip,snip). I've never tried to propagate corals before, but I could try...

Here's a pic of my Clarkii and his anenome. Can anyone tell me what kind it is? The previous owner said it was a Sebae, but it looks like a Rose to me. It's split off four times now, that one in the back. I had to give the others away because they wouldn't keep still!

I think they are Sebae anenome. I love them because their beautiful---they really adds alot of color and movement to the tank. I hate them because they won't stay put. About once a month, they decide that they want to be on the other side of the tank...and sting everything along the way. Then...

I had two sebae anenomes which then split into four...and if they weren't so nice looking, and my clarkii wasn't hosting them---they'd be GONE!!! My tank is only 29 gallons, and when they decide to move (and they are ALWAYS moving), it's like a wildfire. They kill everything in their path. But...

Well, about two weeks after the last post, the hole continued to geet larger. The piece that was hanging off got fuller and grew a stem before I cut it off and stuck it on a rock. It's doing fine, but now there are two more holes forming. Nothing is chewing on this guy. It's fragging itself...

Not sure of what's going on here....the edges on this leather have been kind of wavy lately, and two big holes formed at the rim. Been like that for about two weeks. Today, it looks like that piece is going to drop off. Then this slime coating and these little black specks appeared. Anyone know...

Well, I don't have any sps----only soft corals. I haven't seen the starfish grazing the liverock---just cruising the glass. It doesn't seem to be eating anything off the glass. But, then again, it's just made itself present in the last few days...hard to say what it's been eating. I'll keep an...
