I just got some mushrooms for SWF.com. Thing is they werent on the rock once they reached my house. I dont want to have to buy some speical thing to put them in to attach them to some rock rubble but if i put them in a plastic bag with cuts in it and some rock rubble is that good or will that...

How well do you think a corallife super skimmer will work for a 55 gallon reef tank? Eventually going to put a sump in, in the next few wks or so. Or would you guys suggest another kind of skimmer?

OK I have 55 gallon tank. About 2 or 3 weeks ago I took out about 15 to 20 pounds of LR and Replaced it with about 25 to 30 pounds of LR. I have about 90 to 110 pounds of Lr now maybe more. My question is..is it safe now to add a britle star some emarld crabs nassails snails(didnt spell that...

Yea I have put another 5 lb peice in. I am slowly putting more... I want to get about 20 to 25 more lbs. I figure there is about 50lbs or more in there now.

Hey thinks guys yes i am sure the rock was cured lol ...and i didnt really have an ammonia spike....i have also done this before about a year ago and it was no biggy .... but this time i had just put new PH's in ...Its a shame the died ...but my main concern is to get my tank to a reef tank...

Yes the rock was cured ...

I took LR out of my tank ...but put amount the same amount back in the tank ..maybe off by 5 to 7 lbs ....but i also put two brand new rio 2100 powerheads in the tank (55gal) they together put out about 1400 gph. My two pajama cardinal fish died today... lawn mower blenny does look too good...

The reason i took my lava rock out was because i have had it for about 2 years and for some reason it seemed like it was crumpling away .... you can use lava rock ...it will grow coralline but i find it harder for it to grow on lava rock....thats JMO ....Thanks

Yea i used epoxy ...yea its stable.. Thanks for looking out though.

Hey you guys were helping me a while back just thought i would post some pics i took out about 14 to 15 of those lava rock ....and put about same amount of pounds but not as many rocks.... I still have to add more rock but this is what it looks like now....Tell me what you guys think ??? Good...

Mushrooms..Zoos ...Maybe some leathers and some xenia not sure on those though.

The only reason I ask ...is because the current seems a little strong ...I know your suppose to have lik 10 -20 times the amount of water ...per hour ...but it just seemed really strong.

I just bought 2 Rio 2100 ....about 1200 gph with both of them together ....is this too much for a 55 gallon tank ?
