i have the same type of filter i don't see alot of small bubbles coming frm mine,i can turn the filter down or up can you if so try it,but i don't really think that it's anything to worry about!

i thing that if your bubbles are goin in the water than this means that your over skiming,so turn the flow down on your skimmer
