My lfs keep the live rock with fish and inverts in one of his large acrylic tanks under the same lighting as tanks containing coral. I have no doubts about it being cured. Maybe your lfs has a similar setup?

Well nearly two weeks went by and Thursday night I saw something moving in the tank once the lights had bee off for awhile. It was my crab! He's alive.

Does your LFS carry live rock that's already cured? If so you may be able to use it immediately. If you have to ship it you'll have to cure it as described in the other posts.
