Well, seems this fish is definitely bumping into things. I just watched go right into the rock head first. This may be why it is choosing to swim out front again, in the open space. Also seems to be swimming across the very bottom alot too, like skimming the sand.

Yes, the females are known to be smaller overall, more often than not. The stripes are the first way to tell, but the smaller size, smaller head/larger eyes really give it away. She's definitely one of a kind Good luck with the new tank.

Thats cool. Keep in mind though most tanks will always have a little nitrates. I've seen a few people who claim to have 0. But having a low number of nitrates in ones tank is not abnormal.
