    lionfish

I have a 40 gallon. I am not sure about housing a Fuzzy Dwarf and a Zebra together. Maybe you should concentrate on getting one first, and making sure everything goes ok with it? You might also be able to take your Volitan to your LFS and get some credit for him.

    lionfish

I have a Dwarf Lion and a Maroon Clown. I bought the Lion when he was very small. I have had him for about 6 months now, and he is 4 inches and pretty big around lol. He is doing excellent, and is a gentle gient. My Maroon Clown will even swim backwards into the Lion when it goes near his...

    Fuzzy Lion fish ??

Take your time. He may not eat and be comfortable yet in his new home. I got mine around last April, and it took 10-14 days before he really become acclimated to the new surroundings. Once you get to that point, the fish should be ok and nature will take its course....he'll have to eat. Mine was...

    Sprung a leak

Something that might help you.....I got these heavy duty plastic tubs at Wal-Nuts, they are strong as hell, and hold 15 gallons each comfortably. I use them for mixing water when doing a water change, or if I need to transfer stuff, etc. I agree, you should probably "tear it down" and either...

    help deciding between angelfish!!!

My Angel loves frozen food...I feed it Emerald Entree every other day. On other days I feed it Marine Marine S pellets and or Formula 2 pellets. It prefers the Emerald Entree and the Marine S. It will also eat live brine shrimp.

    How to take good pictures

I finally figured out that when not using the flash, upping the ISO setting to 200 or 400 makes for way better pics lol, using the macro (flower) setting as well.

    What type of goby?

I have a Decorated Goby. He does what say, and loves to keep the sand bed clean. If I put something in or something gets out of place, he becomes obsessed with fixing it. Kind of funny. He also doesnt bother anybody, but he is not afraid to stick up for himself if someone tried to steal food...

Pink skunk clown and Maroon clown

I agree, might not be good idea. Never can tell, but to be safe...especially with a Maroon which is the largest and most territorial of the Clowns, I wouldnt try it.

    Live Rock Questions

Yeah but its not "free" shipping though. It is built into the $199.99 price. If it were truly "free shipping", you should get the rock for between 90 and 110 dollars. Not to mention it says "Free 2nd Day Shipping" for live rock, not overnight. "Free Overnight" is only available for fish...

    Live Rock Questions

No need to apologize, but I appreciate your respectful response very much. I know we both do not intend to disturb this thread or the board in general. I only mentioned the cheaper alternative as help. I truely understand the support for the site. But 40 dollars over time in this hobby can add...

    Live Rock Questions

Ummmm, the question was what amount would be good to start with. Most would, have agreed, that 90# was alot to start with. Then someone quoted a price from here, 200 bux, for 45 pounds. Which is alot of money to pay for that amount. Obviously, I should've realized who I was dealing with the...

toby puffer nipping at my clownfish's fins

I also have a Valentini, with a tank raised Maroon Clown. The Clown has been in the tank the longest, and the Puffer was last introduced. My Clown has also been nipped at by the Puffer, usually on the tail, but I have also seen little nip marks on his dorsal fin and even the pelvic fins. I've...

    Live Rock Questions

Oh here we go, I knew someone would start to get personal. First of all, I understand that some people are "loyal" to one site or another. But dont start getting mouthy because I posted trying to help someone find a cheaper deal. I like this site, but I also like paying less for the same...

    Live Rock Questions

Again, you have to cure it anyway. My rock was 2-nighted and did just fine. Micro-fauna retreat to the deepest darkest pits, cracks, and holes, and can sustain life long enough to be shipped. And no, I'm not willing to fall for marketing schemes such as "free shipping". As a smart consumer, I...
