post a pic and tell which camera you used

Thanks Lisa, It's a little tricky to find the underwater feature, but if it is the same Powershot I use it has a dial on top of the camera to switch camera modes. Turn the dial to select scene mode which will say SCN. then u can scroll through various scene modes, with the the selector button...

post a pic and tell which camera you used

Some pics I took using my Canon Powershot A520. Cost about $230 and has a great feature for underwater pictures that work pretty good.

    75 Gallon Pix Wanted!!!

Thanks NM. Maybe one day my tank will look half as nice as yours. Tripleshot, the coral in the center is a devil's hand leather. It was only about half that size when I bought it about 6 months ago. Now it's about the size of a softball.

    75 Gallon Pix Wanted!!!

This is my 75. I have 260 watts of pc on it now, will soon get the mh's though. If it was me I would go with the 75 over the 55 because of the difference in depth of the tank.

    Some new Pics

Green macro algae I believe is called Halimeda. It was attached to some live rock I bought a few months ago, so I just left it there and now it is growing like a weed. I have trimmed it a couple times, I think it sets off the aqarium though. You don't see a whole lot of people with it in there...

    Zoo's not opening

I read in you specs that your salinity was 1.021-1.023. That could be your problem right there. slowly raise it up to 1.026 and see what that does.

    calcium level high

That is a little high, which means your ALK is low and could also affect your PH. They are all three related. What kind of salt do you use? Water change is about the only way to try to stabilize everything. I use Instant ocean salt and mine stays around 500. I've heard people who use reef...

    Show me your rockscape

My tank is a 75 and I have somewhere between 90 and 100 pounds in it. It's best not to place your rock very dense so water can flow throughout your tank. It also gives fish a lot more places to hide.

    Keeping Sand clean

Maybe try to experiment with your water flow and see if you can redirect flow or maybe add more flow.

    new please help

Seahorses are one of the hardest fish to care for. I would try some hardier fish for a while if your new at this because they are expensive,(of course most saltwater fish are). You need prestine water conditions for them. Not to steer you away, because if thats what you like you should go for it...

    Keeping Sand clean

Sounds like you have to many nutrients in water. It might just be water quality. Check phosphates and nitrates. Do you have to scrape green algae off your glass constanly?

    Puffer question.

I used to have a porcipine and a panda puffer (Masked puffer) in my tank. I had no problems at all, but all fish have different personalities so I guess you just have to try it see how they get along. Really no other way to find out for sure. I don't consider puffer's to be agressive, only...

    cyano strikes back!!

Are u using ro/di water for topoffs? I know I had a bad outbreak about a year ago, and I was about to give up, then I bought ro/di filter and in about a month it was all cleared and no cyano since. I tried the cutting lights down and less feeding to no prevail. I think your water quality is...

    adding purple tang

A lot of people will advise against it, but I had a hippo tang in my 75 for 3 years and it did great. Was very healthy It eventually outgrew the tank and I got rid of it. I think one would be Ok but two and especially the naso I would not do.

    dKH and Calcium?

Test your PH also and see what it reads because it will probably be off. All three work in conjunction with each other and the most important thing is keeping them all stable. Post your PH level.

    someone please help????

If you haven't bought it yet don't. Go ahead and buy the 260 watt pc. It will be enough for most softies and lps. with the 130 watt pc you would be very limited and you can get a 260 watt for little over $100 on certain sites. definatley worth the difference. I have 260 watt on my 75 and it...
