anybody.......any thoughts?!

I have read that salt mix needs 24 hours to dissolve, But I only mix up about 2.5 gal at a time, in a 5gal bucket with a heater and a 160gph powerhead, I use tropic marin salt and really dont think it should take 24 hours!!! Any thoughts???!?!?! Maybe 4?!
