from what i've read on here it's best to remove it . if you drop it back in it can do harm to corals and such. especially if a clump lands directly on them.

i'm specifically looking for info on instant ocean reef crystals. has anyone gotten a batch ready for a water change and tested it for calcium , magnesium ,ect... and if so would you mind sharing the results?? from what i have read they claim to have higher levels of everything for reef tanks ...

thanx for the responses. i looked on a link and found that instant ocean reef crystals have higher levels of trace elements and magnesium and higher calcium levels as well so i think i'll go that route from here on .it's formulated especially for reef systems.
