you ever think about just getting out of it?

That and a buck will get you a cup of coffee. And 4 B&W copies at Kinko's ;-)

    Show off your tank(s)!!

Thanks! The fish are loving all the caves and passageways, which are even cooler than caves because you can see them making their way around and exploring. As for the sponges I found out that mine have lived a lot longer than one should expect in a tank and, in fact, they're starting to wither...

you ever think about just getting out of it?

I have a rule about spending money. If it's on something that's temporal, like a trip to the beach, and when I get back it's just a memory, I hold back. If it's something that you buy and you have it for years I go for it. I'd rather spend a grand on a new tv or DSLR than on a trip to Myrtle...

you ever think about just getting out of it?

What a bummer! I always thought "flower" was a cute 23 year old hottie... Anyway, back to reality. Flower, except for the weight I suffered from the same problems as you. In fact when I got my tank up and running again I had to have the LFS come and install the new plumbing because I couldn't...

    HELP PLEASE!

That happens to me sometimes after doing a water change and turning everything back on. Usually I turn off the power to the pumps for about 5 seconds and turn it back on and it's all good. I'm assuming that sometime in the past 4 days you've already tried that.

    Show off your tank(s)!!

Hey, sorry! I didn't get any notification that there was a new response on this thread. Well, I don't know what to tell you. I've got a sandsifting gobi, and maybe 5 crabs. I also clean the glass every 1-2 days. Also I've got all my windows in that room sealed, no sunlight hits the tank. I've...

    Tanks on Today Show

Half the aggravation as well  btw, that link (which I realize is 9 years old now) no longer goes to the aquarium video.

    Black Friday In May!!!

Mine are being chased by my black and whites (what I call humbugs), and, oddly enough, my Flame Angel, although not to any drastic extent. Mostly "get out of my territory" dust ups. They're already eating

Why are air bubbles bad for a saltwater tank?

Thanks, now I have to pee.

Why are air bubbles bad for a saltwater tank?

Oh man, me too. Glad I'm not the only one. Although I wonder why my LFS treats me like a lunatic.

Perfectly healthy Queen Angelfish suddenly stopped eating. Mid-day, no less

Yeah, but they're lasting well into the daylight hours. As of right now, 10:30 a.m. they're still there, not as pronounced. They do fade but it takes into the afternoon. Other than that he's still eating as voraciously as before, swimming the same routes, nothing else has changed.

Perfectly healthy Queen Angelfish suddenly stopped eating. Mid-day, no less

Queen is eating voraciously again as of this morning. Now if we could get to why my otherwise perfectly normal Blue Face angel suddenly has early morning blotches on his body.

Perfectly healthy Queen Angelfish suddenly stopped eating. Mid-day, no less

I think you combined my two questions into one. The Blue Face is king, and believe me when I tell you, neither of them are the victims of aggression. The only fish in my tank that is a victim is my Majestic, and he's in perfect condition and happy as a clam, and eating.

Perfectly healthy Queen Angelfish suddenly stopped eating. Mid-day, no less

I tried to google this but all I get is that ridiculously difficult to read wetwebmedia site. Hey, guys, it's not 1995 anymore!!! Anyway, my Queen Angel, which I've had for over 3 months now, is in perfect health, no marks or scratches and was eating up until yesterday's second feeding when it...

Hydor Smart Level Control - When does it turn on the pump?

Cloudy Reef Syndrome? o_O My fail safe method wasn't doing it for me either. Hence purchasing the ATO instead of a juicy steak. So all your fixin's are in the basement, sweeeeet. Last time I had a basement was in NY. My 1/2 bathroom is on the other side of the wall behind my tank. Many a time...
