may be true. I don't use a back ground, because I like to check on stuff going on behind the rocks. Incase I need to see back there. Otherwise, I believe blue looks best. REGUARDLESS, If you have a bad enough setup, you should NOT be able to see the back of the tank. IMO:D

But isn't the skimmer going to remove a lot of good stuff in the water w/ the bad? What would be the point really to have both? I'm still learning here so bare w/ me.:cool:

My CBS did the same thing. His whiskers are not that long or straight anymore. He also lost both claws 2 molts ago. Each time he molts, he loses whatever little nubs are regenerating. Bang- Help me out here. I know there is noe fish messing w/ him. What should I do?

I don't know which one to go with. I want to keep everything beneficial in the water, and I want cleaner water. My water quality right now is fine, but I want to add more fish. I'm leaning towards the refugium.

How long until the diatoms stop appearing? My Yellow watchman goby and coral beauty are eating it slowly.

actually, they probably would have been safer in your garage. They most likely met up w/ a snake, hawk, cat, dog, or maybe if they made it throught the day, they most definetly got picked up by an owl. lol.... but you did the nice thing, it's not your fault.:D

AW MAN! Some conch fritters and mahi mahi on the beach w/ a cold brew or margarita. (Spelling?) A little lemon on the fritters. YEAH!!
