I stacked my rock with no epoxy. You just gotta get them perfectly stacked. Bigger prices on the bottom. Maybe if there is a flatish area on the rock put that side up and use that as the base. I'm gonna be no help here.

He most definitely can. Any slow moving docile fish like your Mandarin could be dinner for him. He can also go after shrimp.
