Thanks! Got some live rock rubble. It has these worm shells on it. The "shells" are made up of little pieces of rubble and sand. And there are black worms inside. Does anyone know if these worms are problematic?

I could So 1ppm will kill all microfauna on rocks? Even if a little survives that's alright. Just want a bit in there to start reproducing. Plenty of rock debris to feast on.

After the cycle is it safe to add one soft coral with my new clowns? Either GSP, pulsing Xenia, mushrooms or leather coral. Haha I thought one coral growing nicely would look good. Or is this one of those don't rush, wait 3-4 months things?

Hello I'm a newbie here so best wait for experienced members. But I've heard it's often the clownfish get stung when trying to host corals or anemone. They then get spots which darken. Are they staying away from any particular coral? Also, checked ammonia, nitrite, temp, and salinity?

Yes :) I'll be ghost feeding once the ammonia readings reach 0. Probably 4-5 pellets every alternate day. The die off from the rocks has the ammonia at 0.5ppm for the past week. Just sitting there waiting for the bacteria

Do you guys think I should turn on the lights and not put the GFO in yet so I get the diatom bloom during cycling to use up excess nutrients and silicates? Assuming when they die the protein skimmer will remove them? Or just leave lights off and run GFO (seachem Phosnet)?

Yes an airstone is good, sometimes it will perk a fish right up. Very often it's the water parameters in the tank which can cause this. Could you tell us what your amonnia, nitrite, nitrate, salinity and temperature are? If all the above are ok then it may just be normal fish behavior but I...
