    Help please!

Just some random thoughts: Lion fish and niger triggers make poor tank mates. Triggers often find the fins on a lion to be irresistible. Blue face angel tend to be shy, I personally prefer the queen angel in the large angel category. Blonde naso may be my favorite fish - beautiful, hearty and I...

Fish for 60 Gallon Saltwater Aquarium

I would recommend against either of the tangs. They just need too much swimming space that you don't have. Furthermore, the small hippo tangs have a horrible survival record, I never get one less than 3-4 inches long. Be patient on the mandarin. Yours is a new tank, and doesn't have enough...

Started a 56G FOWLR tank and could use some help with picking fish

Hyposaliinity will not kill all external parasites (examples of survivors are brooklynella hostis and oodinium), and none of the internal critters. There are drugs that will kill internal parasites, and many of us do use them routinely, but you should still qt for a month or 6 weeks to cover...

    koran angel discoloration

I agree with trigger40 that this could indicate stress, but your water params sound good. Have any new fish been added to the system that might be having a territorial issue with the angel. Also, be aware that when the large angels change color in captivity they generally do not develop the...

I have been reading and on the computer non stop about ich I think no one knows what they are talking about Everyone tries to work off partial fact and opinions I got that from not one but three fish store managers in big companies If one said it maybe I would be skeptical But I read it and I...

How often are those suits successful? Always wondered about that.  Most settle, but win, lose or draw, the financial and time cost of the litigation serves as a spur to the bars and bartenders to be careful.

Newbie wanting to start a 75 gallon Lionfish tank

The rule of thumb is 1 lb of lr/gallon, so you would need 65-75 lb of rock. You need to be sure to get the right rock to create overhangs since lionfish appreciate caves or overhangs to lurk in while they await their prey. The tank should also be relatively dimly lit. A 75 gallon tank will be...

Whats your faverite fish and why?

Mine was an emperor angel that I had for 15 years. It knew me, would eat from my hand and allow me to stroke its body. My wife has told me that at about the time that I am due to come home each evening the fish would stay at the end of the tank facing the front door, with its face pressed...

    Ich

I agree with everything Flower said, but I don't think your tang died from ich - 24 hours is far too fast. I would guess that stress from the move killed the tang.
