hello, I have a 240+30ish sump and for lights I run 4X 250W 14K Mh and 4X110 W super blue act. VHO most of the time I turn off the VHO's because It's too blue for me. my addvice is find a really nice skimmer rated for like 400-600 gal.+a refug. W/ LS ,LR and cheto

OK i'll play too: here is my 240 It's been up one month and 15 days sence the move. before that it was up only for 6 months... can't wait to finly add some more fish to it. a clown CB angle and a Pfire fish makes this big tank look so bare..LOL oh and sorry about the agle getting my blume + I...

better save your money for fish stuff! dating getz expencive trust me you will have so much time to spend all your money on girls..LOL think about all the nice fish or coral you can have. but if you are going to do it than just do! girls like guys that are bold! have fun!

go slow....only QT one of those fish at a time. to small of a tank. I am in the process of setting up a 55 gal QT tank so I can QT two small tangs and an angle I got from our club group buy. but with a 10gal QT IMO I would do only one fish at a time. maybe you could get away with the PJ...

you might find a good used deal... I got a 240 gal complet set up stand, canopy, sump, two return pumps, skimmer W/ pump, 200+lbs of live rock, LS for $2k I did have to drive from colorado to kC so add $400 for the trip. then I spent 1k on the lights. so right now I have 4K in to it and...

but if you place the UV after the refuge will it not kill the pods?? so adam are you thinking it should go refuge- skimmer-UV the back to DT?

wow that is a good idea! just might to the acrycil brace. but it not really all that bad and no looks are not that important it just a QT tank for now and then a sump refuge.

oh and what would use guys use to clean out the tank? It was pretty drity. I just housed iot off of the pic. what about bleach.....and then clean it realy good and leave it out in the sun for a couple days? od just h2o and a mild soap? thanks

Good idea, however I think that most ppl put the UV after the skimmer because the skimmer well skimms the junk out making the job of the UV easyer, less junk in the h2o the longer the bulb will last and more effective in output of the UV will be. your right about most ppl puting the UV on the...

I need a 55 because I will be QTing three fish for my 240. now the questions is the center brace is missing on the tank! he told me it hald h2o for a year like this! after this group buy I was thinking about useing...
