to many leathers...They release of a toxin and usually will kill the SPS..some say just running carbon will take care of it but maybe in your case it wont..I will bet its your leathers killing off the SPS.

its a good light..and could be a great light once you change out those stock bulbs to some better ATI bulbs

its doing fine with very long polyp extensions...Its perfectly fine and its not in any bad shape at all..But then again we have so many experts on this board who know how it looks in my tank.

that was 10min after it was in the tank...I have seen plenty of frags of it. I know how they look and what is healthy and not. I am sure you know more though since you read some info on a site selling them..

my heater is in my sump..it would heat everything since the water is always overflowing into the sump and being pumped back up to the tank. well i am assuming also this sump is plumbed into both tanks as well?

is there enough room on each end left of the brace to have about 1.5" left on each side after you cut out the rest. If so cut off the rest in the middle and go get a piece of stainless steel rod not something super skinny but not something really thick..just enough..maybe like an 1/8" size...
