I found this site where this guy used epdm weather stripping around the baffles to create the seals instead of silicone. This looks like it would be easier and less of a mess. Does anyone know if it could possibly be harmful overtime to the water chemistry?

Thanks for the help I am still on the fence about the whole thing. I can afford the largest overflow plus the 3800gph Dart pump but don't know if I should dump the cash into it. If I did get the 3800 pump how many returns should I put in? I would be using those loc pipe things.
